Kenneth was born and raised in Carrollton, Ga and is married to Renee Rooks. They have two children, Corey and Brandi, and two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Malachi. In the early 1970's and 80's Kenneth had a passion for full contact karate and boxing. He became the S.E. Middleweight Champion in full-contact karate.
In 1984, his life changed when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. In 1988, Kenneth began ICE International Ministries. In the early 90's, he and Renee co-founded RiverBend Christian College, the backpack medical mission project and the International Relief Team. After eighteen years, ICE has had existing works which include healthcare, education, training national men and women in leadership, world missions, anointed preaching, and teaching on the subject of world evangelism. He has preached to multitudes in more than twenty different countries. On any given month you may find him working in a refugee camp, leading a disaster relief team, training nationals, or leading a team of short term missionaries.
Renee was born and raised in Carrollton, Ga. Attending West Georgia College and Georgia State University, she obtained her undergraduate and gradiate nursing degrees and became a nurse practitioner in 2000. The bulk of Renee's career has been in the hospital emergency room.
She accepted Christ as her Savior in 1984 and since that time she has had a love for missions. In June of 1997, Renee organized I.C.E. Ministries first short term medical clinics in the bush of Uganda, East Africa. I.C.E. provided medical care to all age groups as well as the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Bethany serves ICE International Ministries as the office manager and a short term missionary. She graduated from college in May 2001 from Shorter College in Rome, Ga., with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology. Upon graduation fhe felt God leading her to work with missions in foreign countries. After several trips she became a part of the I.C.E. family and began using her talents in the office as well as abroad. Even though Bethany's responsibility is the day to day office operations, she plans to return to India and other countries to serve the women and children.
As well as working with ICE, Bethany works full time as a receptionist for a veterinary clinic. In October 2003 Bethany got married and is currently enrolled in classes to strengthen her Bibical background to further her effectiveness on the field with the children and women.
Helen was born and raised in Carrollton, Ga. and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in April of 1992. Helen attended Middle Georgia College and the University of Georgia where she recieved her Bachelor's degree in Social work. Helen always knew that God would somehow use her Social work skills for His Glory, and during her sophomore year of college she felt Him calling her to international missions. That same year she became involved with ICE and has been working with ICE ever since. Since working with ICE, Helen has had the privilege to work in India and Uganda. Helen is now heading the women's ministry for ICE and has a passion for training women to be leaders in their churches and communities.
