No one has the right to hear the Gospel twice while there remains someone who has not heard it once.
Our focus is the 10/40 window.
Our strategy is to "Serve the unserved...Aid the Persecuted Church...Bring Light to the Lost..." by using health care, humanitarian services, and education to open doors that would otherwise be closed.
Our challenge is partly that 92% of all money spent on Christian causes is spent in the United States; less than 1% of every dollar is used in the least reached areas. Often these regions are the poorest, most unstable, and least evangelized in the world.
Missionaries of I.C.E. are often asked, "Why do you serve in these areas? Are you sure God wants you in these places? Why not grow old in a nice safe place?" Our answer is the same one that Paul gives in Romans 15:20: "It has always been my ambition to preach the Gospel where Christ is not known."
When we meet the physical needs of individuals without a plan to bring one from dependent to independent through planting local churches, we simply cause individuals to be dependent these type labors usually do not create lasting efforts. We believe that the scripture teaches, the local church has been equipped, empowered, and designed as God’s instrument to fulfill the great commission on this earth.
This is the true heartbeat of God, which is to reach the world with a message of hope and eternal love in Christ. As we look back over the year, we can truly say the Lord has blessed the efforts of both the American and National teams.
We would like to invite you to join our team efforts as well as thank you for your continued prayers and support of I Care Enough International Ministries. Please follow the links for more information about I.C.E.
